A scientist and entrepreneur from Los Angeles, California, Arthur Mikaelian, PhD, founded multiple firms in the tech/biotech industry before launching a Los Angeles-based company in 2007. In his role as CEO and researcher at the firm, Dr. Arthur Mikaelian is developing therapies for various conditions using peptides derived from a Caribbean scorpion venom.

Dr. Mikaelian attended university in Moscow, eventually earning a doctorate in biological neuropsychology from Vernadsky Foundation-University. While pursuing his education, he launched his first venture, the Trigon Corporation, in 1986. This company researched improving polymer science to maximize the binding power of paints. Two years later, he founded Infinity, which was an American-Soviet research partnership. In 1996, while working on his doctorate, he launched the Bio-Chrono Institute, which focused on therapies for psychosomatic conditions.

In his current role, Dr. Mikaelian creates innovative medicines using a humanitarian approach. His companies currently leverage the power of his patented polarization technology invention for a variety of therapeutical research and development in a variety of fields, including oncology, virology, tissue rejuvenation, and a focus on improving quality of life.

Dr. Mikaelian’s research into scorpion venom has culminated in two patents and the publication of his findings in the academic journal Drug Design, Development, and Therapy. He also has patents for therapies treating vitiligo and tissue rejuvenation. His other research areas include antiviral treatments, anti-aging therapies, hair restoration therapies, joint and cartilage regeneration therapies, neuronal repair therapies, and a universal system of modeling (a new approach to AI).
